ok, now cambo forum has 242 registered user........if they gv welcome each other, there will be 242 into 242 = 58564 reply.
one day cambo forum will have 1000 user 1 day,what will do when that user will reply in old users introduction

welcoming each other is nice, then why should we make it such a big issue?
it shows that forum users feel happy when new user joins,
what would you feel when you introduce yourself in a forum and get nothing in reply?
what would you feel when theres nobody or just few people welcoming you?

anyway i said that locking introduction forum is fine
but not other sections

for my part when new user will join here, that topic should be locked after 3/4 days,thats why we can get enough time to welcoming him, then topic is valueless nd should lock... Smiling

The purpose of showing the number of posts is to show how much the user is regular here.
since "To share" means to give a nice reply of your views that would everybody get a point an a benefit from you.
It is not just filling it by welcomes and thanks "like some of users do" without giving any sense of views.
cause if it is so, in the result, a boring forum will born ! And you can see other forums are really boring due to this problem.

However, LOCK IT OR UNLOCK IT IS NOT A BIG DEAL

Anyways , it is all between pink-jasmine's hands, to say yes or no. i will call her for this, Then this matter will be closed and terminated before it becomes like a hassle

@azzrail, three to six days are enough for regular users

As Forum Rule of Moderators Section, in Self Introduction, it need to lock between from 10-15 posts to avoid over load of greeting.I think it is enough for greeting each new members.And sometimes the post can increase to a lil more bec of many greeting before Moderators lock.

I hope it does not have any big deal in Self Introduction Section.
If any members want to greeting or late to reply ur Good Friend while topic already locked , Pls feel free PM our Moderators or me.
